About me

Hey y’all, my name is Margaret Schindler, I’m a Houston native, and I’ve been tutoring for over 13 years. I graduated from Cinco Ranch High School in 2011, and I got my bachelor’s degree in biochemistry with a minor in Spanish language from St. Edward’s University in 2014. My first class in college was Calculus 2, and after making perfect scores on the first three tests, I was asked to tutor for a campus program. It was there that I learned knowing something, and knowing how to teach it are two very different levels of mastery. Since then, I have taught elementary students how to multiply, junior high students the difference between smooth and skeletal muscles, high school students how to use the quadratic equation, and college students the basics and complexities of thermodynamics.
I have a deep love for teaching my students, and few things are more satisfying than seeing that “aha” moments when one of my kids truly understands a difficult concept. Please reach out to me with any questions so we can get you or your student on the way to mastery of their challenging subjects.
