West Houston Tutoring

My services include all levels of math, up to and including Calculus 3 and Differential Equations, though my most common requests are for Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Precalculus and high school Calculus tutoring, as well as improving SAT scores. I often work with students pursuing higher education who need help with required math classes for their degrees.

Before launching my tutoring business, I worked in molecular biology and spent a year and a half in an oil and gas chemistry lab. This hands-on, comprehensive experience has equipped me with in-depth knowledge and practical skills that I bring to my science tutoring sessions. Besides my career, I have a comprehensive understanding of everyday application of scientific principles, so I can help relate complex ideas to concrete uses that your student can see working before their eyes.

Spanish is my second language, which I began speaking alongside English as a young child. I studied Spanish continuously from kindergarten through college, earning a minor in Spanish language upon graduation. With extensive experience, I offer expert Spanish tutoring up to level 3 for junior high, high school, and college students. My deep understanding of the language and culture ensures a rich and effective learning experience for my students.
